A summer internship with Lazard Australia is an excellent way of gaining a better understanding of the investment banking industry and the culture of our business. It allows you to experience the day-to-day activities of an Analyst and work alongside our corporate advisers at every level. Our Sydney and Melbourne offices offer summer internships to outstanding undergraduates who are completing their penultimate year of study. An internship can lead to an offer in the following year’s
Analyst program. We look for the same qualities in our Summer Interns as we do in our Analysts.
What can you expect?
An internship at Lazard Australia offers you an unparalleled opportunity to work as part of client teams on major strategic assignments. We believe that meaningful exposure to senior corporate advisers and clients is an important part of your training and experience and accelerating your career. As a Summer Intern, you will work within project teams providing support by performing financial analysis and modelling, conducting company and industry research, preparing client presentations, and interacting with our senior corporate advisers and clients. We expect our Summer Interns, and ultimately our Analysts, to assume significant levels of
responsibility which requires you to have a high degree of maturity, self-confidence and technical aptitude.
