Investing for the Future: The FMAA Shared Value and ESG Investing Challenge
FMAA is proud to present ‘Investing for the Future: The FMAA Shared Value and ESG Investing Challenge’!
This competition is an ideal platform for students to put their studies into practical application. Each team will be judged on their style of presentation, connection to ESG and shared value principles, the rationale behind their strategy, and attention to detail in their research.
Participants will work in teams of 2-4, where they will be assessed by representatives from leading Australian asset management and investment management firms. Campus winners will be invited to compete in the state finals, conducted virtually.
State winners will then be invited to compete in the national finals (conducted at The University of Melbourne) where the winner and runner-up teams are awarded $1,500, $1,000, and $500 cash prizes respectively. The best first-year team nationally will be awarded $300 – to be eligible the team must have a minimum of three first years students from an overall team size of up to 4 students.
At the conclusion of the National Finals, there will be an opportunity to meet and network with senior members of the participating firms.
Registration is open for groups of 2-4; however, if you do not have a team, you may register as an individual and you will be allocated into a team.
